Ingredients Banana Simple Syrup 1 ripe banana, mashed (about ½ cup) 1 cup water 1 cup granulated sugar ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg Latte 1-2 shots espresso (about 2-4 oz) 1-2 tablespoons banana simple syrup 4-6 oz steamed milk (or milk alternative) Optional: whipped cream, cinnamon sprinkle Prep and Review Make the Banana Simple Syrup In a small saucepan, combine water, sugar, and bring to a boil Stir until sugar dissolves and mixture is at a boil.

Prep and Review In espresso cup, layer bottom with honey. Sprinkle top of honey with cinnamon. Long pull of espresso into the cup. Mix well Finish with half and half. I keep cold to make something more refreshing, but could potentially use steamed milk or half and half for a heated version.
