Cinnamon Roll Banana Bread
Ingredients
Main Batter
- 3 ripe bananas
- 4 tbsp melted butter
- 3/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 tsp baking power
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 cup flour
- 1 cup rolled oats
Cinnamon Swirl
- 4 tbsp melted butter
- 1/3 cup light brown sugar
- 2 tbsp cinnamon
Cream Cheese Frosting
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 2 ox cream cheese
Instructions
- Prehead oven to 375. Greese a metal loaf pan with non stick spray
- In large mixing bowl, use a fork or potato masher to mash the bananas. Add butter, maple syrup, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, baking powder and sugar, and salt. Add the flour and oats and mix until a batter forms.
- Transfer the batter to the greased loaf pan.
- In a small, separate bowl, make the cinnamon swirl by mixing the melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon together. Drizzle the cinnamon swirl over the top of the banana bread batter and then use a spoon to gently fold it in to create a swirl effect.
- Bake the cinnamon role banana bread in the oven for 55-60 minutes or until it is golden brown.
- While the bread bakes, use a whisk to mix the melted butter, powdered sugar, and cream cheese to make the cream cheese frosting.
- Drizzle the frosting over the loaf once it has cooled for a couple of minutes and enjoy while still warm.
